New Orleans 31, Indianapolis 17

As I predicted back on Monday, the Saints are your Super Bowl champions.  What a game, and what a 2nd half tonight for New Orleans.

The party has already started here in Louisiana.  I’ll be by tomorrow with an in-depth look back at the game, so make sure to come back then.  For now, it’s time to celebrate in the Big Easy.

  1. You did better than I did–I had the Colts winning.

If you look back at most of my picks this postseason, my record before tonight wasn’t much to celebrate, LOL.

The Saints definitely felt like they were the “team of destiny” — while the Colts had all of the karma points against them, whether it was the tank job at the end of the season and not trying to go 16-0 or Tony Dungy saying earlier in the week that the game “wouldn’t be close”. My faith in the balance of the universe was definitely confirmed tonight.
